Try these water saving tips at your home:
1. Repair leaking faucets, pipes and toilets.
2. Install water saving faucets and shower heads.
3. Wash only full loads of laundry and dishes.
4. Don't use the toilet for trash disposal.
5. Take short showers instead of baths.
6. Soak dishes before wahing if you don't have a dishwasher.
7. Water your lawn and garden as little as possible. When you do have to water, do so in the evening or early morning.
8. Use mulch around plants and shrubs to help retain moisture.
9. Repair leaky faucets or nozzles.
10. Use water from a bucket to wash your car and save the hose for rinsing.
11. Sweep clippings and leaves instead of using the hose.
12. Obey any and all water bans or regulations.
